(Sorry for misfire!) Quick update about the garden and project
Hey folks! I sure hope I'm not the only one that's been able to at least get outside now and then and enjoy the warmer weather.
Hey y’all! I apologize for that misfired email. It’s like someone famous said - the only ones not making mistakes are the ones that aren’t learning. Apparently it’s a season of learning for me. But learning is growing, so let’s do this.
It’s going to be a really straightforward update, and then I’ve got 2 really enjoyable (to me) pieces in the queueueue (I never know when to stop) that should both go out over the next few days.
A total of 10 people signed up for beta testing, and I’ve got about half the plants established enough to ship. Its taking me a little longer to sort out the picture taking part of it. But these new LLMs (GPT etc.) are actually pretty good at building crappy code and then teaching you how to fix it. So we’ll get there, between work and life.
Oh check this out!
My pansies, snapdragons, and violas (all those little sprouts in my post from a few months ago) have exploded into color all over my front porch.
When I’m not working (which is almost never right now) I just walk out there and sit on the steps and hang out with them.
I’ve got some pictures of my blackberry bushes and a good little story to go along with them coming up soon. I’ll also be posting more about my tomatoes and some really cool flowers I’ve got growing.
Alright then, that’s the update for now. I hope everyone has a great holiday this weekend if you are in the US and fortunate enough to be off.
Hey Rick! Love your flowers, they look beautiful! I always enjoy reading your posts and are looking forward to reading about how your blackberry bushes and your tomatoes are coming along. I also wanted to say thank you so much for recommending my Substack to your readers. Really means a lot. :) Sounds like the beta testing is going well and I am so happy for you. I know this projects means alot to you and am glad to see it going well :) I'm also looking forward to reading everyones' stories and seeing how their journey with life and their plants go too. Anyways, I've taken up enough of your time, keep up the great work, and always remember you are an awesome writer/ horticulturist and are continuing to inspire people everywhere and that is way cool.:)
